Private Counselling
“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity.”
— Brené Brown, Daring Greatly
My Methodology:
Alongside this foundation, I work pluralistically, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, and existential perspectives. This allows therapy to be shaped around you, rather than asking you to fit into a single method.
I am particularly drawn to working with themes around relationships, connection and attraction, identity, discipline and personal goals, as well as challenges related to eating disorders, body dysmorphia, muscle dysphoria, the changing landscape of modern relationships and gender expectations, and the unique challenges faced by minority communities, with a cultural lens guiding this work. I also support clients navigating workplace bullying, toxicity, and professional stress.
Our work together is collaborative and reflective, grounded in genuine human connection and informed by years of study, practice, and ongoing professional development. Through this process, many clients gain greater clarity, emotional stability, and the tools to move forward with confidence in their lives.
